Panther 5.55 is shifting exclusively to support Jakarta EE and OpenJDK 17 onwards. This transition is prompted by major JEE Application Servers like WebSphere Liberty, Eclipse Glassfish, and TomEE migrating to Jakarta EE.
The changes mostly involve portability adjustments in EJB and Servlet code, requiring alterations in package name, import statements and recompilation. The class names remain identical.
